Good luck for tomorrow, it’s not as daunting as we imagine, and as you say another step on the road to a mended heart.

Best wishes Pauline

Looking forward to your post-op update! I imagine it will be a day or three before you're up to typing on a keyboard - wishing you a quick uncomplicated recovery, Templar889, and again, looking forward to the update!

Well just had angiogram.

In lounge area for 2 hours before I go home.

All arteries are fine thank god. Low iron levels so will need that investigating.

Blood pressure dropped during procedure so they had to stop and give me meds. Apart from that all good.

Onwards towards the valve replacement. 😀

Great news, another step on the road to getting your new valve.

Great news. Glad it went well. Weirdly an angiogram is the one thing I never had in the run-up to mine - echos, ECGs, MRIs, exercise tests, 24-hour BP monitors, but no angiogram. But from the sound of it, I'm quite glad! Rest up and look after yourself, and onwards and upwards I guess.

Cheers

I think it’s a conversation to have with your surgeon. As long as you have all the information you need you should be making the right decision for you.

We are all different and have different needs, age comes into it, even down to our surgeon they have their preferences.

Take good care Pauline

Many TVs is Pauline. I have an idea of what I want so will probably go for that.

At 56 I’m the middle range for either.
