Anyone heard of Crescendo Angina?

I'm in hospital after a day of chest pain yesterday (I have CAD with 5 stents). Doctor mentioned Crescendo Angina but havent seen him again since. Anyone know if theres any difference to unstable angina?

I experience crescendo angina.

My episodes of chest pain get longer, stronger and more frequent at rest.

When my angina becomes unstable like this it's time to call the ambulance to be assessed in hospital.

Thankyou. So experiencing chest pain for approx 14 hours would fit the symptoms of that type of angina?

Any change to the pattern of your angina especially if it occurs at rest which is not relieved by 3 blasts of GTN spray needs an urgent medical review.
