Back again just needed advice I used to forget if I had taken my medicine so I wrote it down but the night before I fell asleep so didn’t take it well last night I wasn’t feeling too good but think I took the tablet but didn’t write it down I’m just wondering if anyone has missed two doses because I don’t want to take it if I already have and if I haven’t will it affect me I’m thinking next to buy a pill box with the days written on and writing it down in the future Does anyone else forget their meds my mom has packed at the chemist but even they forget to put one of the tablets in the blisters until she realizes and phoned them

Morning.

Have forgotten ramipril before bed a few times. I've rang the GP and they told me not to double dose so just wait till next time. I get my meds in a blister pack to help me remember

Ring the GP this morning to be on the safe side

Pill box solved my 'did I/didn't I' worries. I got mine on eBay but Amazon and nearly all the pharmacy sites online (Lloyds, Boots, SuperDrug, more) sell a variety of pill boxes including one compartment, several compartments, one week or two, and some pre-marked with day and time of day while other multiple day ones come with no markings so you can label as you need.

Mine is a clear container holding seven boxes with three compartments in each box. I used one of those inexpensive handheld label makers to label each compartment - AM (morning), PRN (as needed), 7DY (for the next week). If the compartment for that day and time of day is empty I know I've taken my medication. And if I ever change when and what meds I take it's a simple matter to peel off the old label and make a new one.

I second the use of a pill box. Feel very reassured that I don’t miss any doses. This is mine from

Amazon. 9.99.

Definitely get a pill box, most Chemists sell them or the internet. Mine has 7 daily boxes divided into 4 compartments. (Even has Braille markings on them) The daily boxes are removable from the main 'frame' so you can take them with you if you are going to be away from home when it's time to 'pop a pill'.
