Update on mobility scooter

It arrived last week (3 weeks early!) and I’ve been nervous about using it. Yesterday we went for a walk down by the river and it was beautiful so we went again today. My husband enjoyed his ride while I walked. It’s been a great help. I can get up the hills now.

Why were you nervous about using it? Super to read you can manage hills now, though. I'm assuming you mean he rides while you walk on the level ground then on hills you switch?

And you still haven't said what colour! (Lady PetrolHead here hoping you'll say British Racing Green or Ferrari Red :) )

Ha ha! Ferrari red. I have been very nervous as a car passenger and haven’t driven since a car shunted us on our way to my cardiac rehabilitation appointment. I still have panic attacks so I need to practice getting my confidence back. I only had one slight panic attack on my first run but I’m not rushing into using it too often. We had two lovely walks yesterday and today and shock of shock he held my hand when he was on the scooter to help me keep my balance (and we live in Yorkshire!)😍

Ooooh, Ferrari Red, you go, girl! And how wonderful your Yorkshire lad holds your hand in public - definitely a keeper, that one:)

If you didn't have such different heart problems and live further up the country, from everything I glean about you, i would swear you were my friend Jean. You are so very similar.
