Hi everyone I hope someone can help me out. Doctor recommended Brisopolol 2.5mg daily for tacardia and palpitations (due to mitral valve prolapse). But 2 hours after taking I get tightness and tingling in my right face, neck and shoulder...anyone else experience this? It's quite scary as I worry its a bad nerve or heart reaction.

I have no problems but you should really seek the advice of your doctor. Hope you get it sorted.

Was this the initial dose your doc gave you? Mine put me on 1.25mg and my svt seemed to calm down but I went back to work and have had 2 hospital trips in the lk ast 6 weeks for adenosine for my svt. I now have the option to take 1 tablet at night and 1 in the morning. I'm a bit worried about the tiredness and light headed Ness. So I am going to start by taking half a tablet extra instead of a full 2nd tablet and gradually progress to the 2 full ones 😁

I found this dose difficult to tolerate so Doc reduced to 1.25 mg. You should discuss with your medic.

I take 2.5 the same as you. I have unpleasant tingling all over me. It was given to me to reduce my pulse rate. I am frightened to reduce it as my doctor says it helps my heart to cope in other ways. I think you just have to discuss with your doctor whether you could reduce the dose. Everyone is different. Good luck.
