Angiogram results

Firstly I would like to thank you all for all the good luck messages, this is going to be a bit long Sorry!

So I’ve been have problems for a few years with angina was told 2011 I had blockages to 1 stent

2017 was told there was a long thin blockage in one stent another minor one in another stent and minor one under a stent..

So today’s angiogram shows all main arteries and stents absolutely fine no sign of blockages !!

But I have a fast heart beat high blood pressure which I have never had but apparently I do now this is why I have been having angina symptoms.

But I could have microvascula angina which I was told once before

My troponin bloods was low at 7 was told this could be muscle damage to my heart so now waiting for a scan was also told I could maybe have a blood clot somewhere

I’m really pleased that they are taking time to check me out

But very confused about arteries and stents been clear

Sorry for long post xx

Hello 2stents

A mixed and confusing picture for you.

Microvascular angina is becoming much more recognised as a cause of ongoing angina after stents being inserted and even coronary artery bypass surgery.

You can indeed have angina with clear coronary arteries.

The usual treatment for this type of

angina is with medication.

Hopefully the doctors will be able to find the best combination of medication that will help you best.

Thank you milkfairy, I am so confused at the moment, I’ve been on ssp for 20 weeks,

I find when I working even shopping I get angina and feel really tired, I need to go back to work money wise, don’t know wether I should go back or not..

Hi 2stents I'm glad you finally had your angiogram are you saying that in 2017 you had blockages but now they are clear . I was unaware this could happen. I have a blockage in LAD of 80% and being treated for now with medication since 2016.

Best wishes

Just spoke to nurse she said if minor blockages sometimes it can clear it’s self !! Don’t know how true this is.
