Hi all. I had a major HA 9 weeks ago and had one stent fitted to a fully blocked left artery. I've been recovering pretty well all in all. My EF has gone up from 30% to around 45% and my 'severe left ventricular dysfunction' has improved to 'moderate LV dysfunction'. My question is this, I woke this morning feeling quite 'chesty' and have coughed a fair bit. I feel as though I have a bit of a wheeze but I'm not breathless. On checking my oxygen levels my oximeter readings were between 89-92% saturation...I'm usually 96/97% and my heart rate is fluctuating between 75-85, this is usually mid 60's on resting. I feel ok, but I'm very anxious now. Do you think I should be concerned? Thank you

Low Oxygen Levels - When to be Concerned?
Agree with thatwasynexpected
It will put your mind at rest or get you to hospital to have a thorough check over, think it’s definitely worth it.!!
I echo what TWU has said, also try taking some deep breaths for a few minutes and see if that stabilize’s your oxygen levels. Often mine hoovers around a low reading but then goes bk up and stabilizes
Thank you! I did some deep breathing and gentle exercise and that seems to have help quite a bit. I became very anxious and panicky and I think that also had a detrimental effect on my stats. I'm going to see what happens over the next couple of hours, but if my oxygen levels drop again I'll call 111 straight away. Thank you for your replies.
Thank you so much. I've done some light exercise (the BHF cardio workout) and my oxygen level has come back to around 94/95 and heart rate around 73/74. I'll monitor them both for another couple of hours and if my oxygen levels drop again I'll ring 111 without fail.
