had 2 stents placed last year. Have had pain and stiffness in my left shoulder and arm with certain movement that has progressively gotten worse. Went to doctor who thinks it might be tendinitis but possibility it might be related to angioplasty procedure. Went to physiotheropist who does not think it's tendinitis and might be damage from my angioplasty procedure. I have prescription for X-ray and ultrasound but not until August. Anyone heard of this or had this? What it's called? What it is?

Hmmm. Am I correct in assuming they went in via your left wrist? Mine was on the right, but don't recall any pain afterwards anywhere along the route (obviously the entry hole in my wrist hurt for days as the clamp the put round it had bruised the area severely) - the stent didn't sit comfortably at first either. Then again, the vessel had been unnaturally expanded, and a foreign body was introduced so it's normal.
I know they try to be as careful as possible, and if they had punctured anything you'd have quite a bit of internal bleeding by now. Best to have it checked out anyway, though.
