Fed up with med side effects

Had a HA and two stents 3 months ago. I have always had a troubled stomach and bowel but knew the heart meds were very necessary. I have been to the ER a few times since my HA with no answers to tightness and band like pains in chest, hard to get deep breath, fatique, nausea, stomach pains, diarhea, mood swings etc. They check my blood for heart attack and send me home. I am also dealing with horrible stomach and bowel pains. I am so worried that all the meds have done damage and even though i am down to ticagrelor, asa, tecta and crestor once a week. I am not getting better i am getting worse. I stopped tecta a week ago because of painful non stop diarhea and that helped. I believe it is the ticagrelor and asa that are really making me sick plus the stomach pain. Anyone else with all this. Our ER is useless.

Where are you? ER is not a UK term. If you have issues with your heart meds your GP or cardiologist is more appropriate than A&E!

Yes i live in Canada and where i live covid has shut down just about everything medical. The wait lists for tests is very long except blood. Cat scan, mri, ultra sound, xray could take months and months unless dibbed emergency and even at that it too could take a month or two. Both my doctor and Cardiologist said go to emerg with any questionable side effects or pains. Emergency is the only place that is in the hospital that can test or speed up testing. On the other hand if you are not in the midst of a heart attack they send you home. My gp does not see patients only a phone call and he does not understand heart meds that well. My cardiologist wants tests done? Hence the frustration. There are people on this site that are from all over the world ...surprise.
