I'm a 50 year old who is six weeks into a stent placement after suffering a heart attack. First day of cardio rehabilitation today and I'm feeling the nerves.
After being taken to hospital in an ambulance last Sunday after almost passing out (blood pressure was fine) I've been feeling pretty crappy (flu like symptoms). It feels like I'm trembling internally and I'm vey tired, also not sleeping just now.
Has anyone else experienced this? The reason I ask is because I'm a litttle bit worried about the impact of rehabilitaion and the effect it will have on me.
I'm a pretty fit fella, just before my HA I had been mountainbiking 60km and regularly ride between 100-150km per week. I also run and hike.
Hi Paul. Is this an online rehab class? The two rehab units that I've been under would both say "don't do rehab if you're not feeling well", so I wonder if you actually did the class?
That said, I agree with Thatwasunexpected, rehab is great for restoring your confidence and setting off on the road back to your previous fitness level. Good luck!
Ah yes, Holland has fared better than GB with covid. Glad your classes are going to be real not virtual, and I hope you're feeling better for the next one
