That’s interesting, two NHS skin specialists looked at my chest scar, said it was keyloid scarring, and that nothing could be done!

My scar healed ok it was the sensation after heeling.was informed this was the nerve ends repairing. This was more so on my chest my leg scar just became dry and itchy the E45 helped both 😊😊

I've tried several creams over the last couple of years, but I'll give the E45 a try again.

David I found the lotion better than the cream. The lotion is thinner and easier to massage with I think

Hi I had a hip replacement and had a very bumpy uneven scar, bio oil was great, gently massaging it on the scar each day. It’s very smooth now.

Nice of you to share, I’m sure folks will find useful (wish I’d known when I got my zipper last year!). If others reading are having problems, have hope, it does improve. I couldn’t wear any cloth over the scar for many months, I was permanently in a v-neck & thought I’d be freezing every winter! But it did pass. These techniques, I feel sure, would have helped smooth & speed that journey.

Yes, it sounds like the same thing, I just spelled it wrongly earlier. Unfortunately, my chest scar is quite sensitive and painful.
