What's Going On!

Yesterday a younger friend was offered a good parcel. He is working from home and has no risk factors. Yet another friend in his late sixties a couple of streets away is vulnerable but not extremely. He has to brave the supermarket as he cannot get any slots. I cannot really help as he is about 30 miles away - I used to live there.

Then in the radio I hear that many of the volunteers have never been given a task. What is going on?

Hi, up here in Yorkshire I've found home delivery slots at Asda & Morrisons come on after 10 or 11pm each night, for 2 or 3 weeks time. They and M&S re now doing boxes of food for delivery too, which can be booked online or by phone. There are volunteers who will do shopping in all the shops for older or vulnerable people. Local churches & charities organise this, so hope your friend can get help by now.
