Hoping to support the Ambulance Service who supported me

Prior to Covid 19 becoming an issue I was supported wonderfully by the Ambulance crew when I was taken to hospital with a suspected heart attack. Diagnosed with myocarditis and later with AF I wanted to give something back to thank them.

I have recently published a book 'The Hideaway' on Amazon under the pen name Jennie Cordner. All proceeds from the sale of both the paperback and kindle version will go the the Ambulance service. So please try and help me help them.

Self isolating means a lot of us read more so perhaps a little romance might brighten your day while helping others. I hope so.

Thanks for reading.

Not really my sort of book it but as it is a good cause and inexpensive I have brought it on Kindle. Currently wading through a turgid, verbose 800 page tome so read the first few pages. But calling the bad guy Mike rankles; can you change him to Tom, Dick or Harry in the next edition? 😎

Hi there, there are reviews on Amazon. With self isolating I just thought this was some small way I could help. Stay safe

I think I would urge people to buy the book (as a good cause) and post a few reviews here. At the moment I am trying to establish what classic car the heroine has. I don't think ir is an MGB - maybe a Volvo Amazon?

well I had MGB in mind but will need to check now if I did say that. I lived In Philly for 3 years and thats why Philly comes into it. Also had breast cancer hence reference to that. But Im here and able to put some of my experiences into my writing. Cancer was 32 years ago...I was a spring chicken

I got the impression of something larger but definitely not a Morris Minor!

Hi Michael, could the turgid tome be the latest Hilary Mantel? That's a real struggle!

No, Alan Bennett "Keeping On, Keeping On". Whilst well written it is so verbose (he's an excellent wordsmith) that it is painfully slow.

The reviews of the latest Hilary Mantel I read suggested you should get a medal if you get past the first few chapters.
