You only get a letter if you are extremely vulnerable which I do not believe you are. There is a pinned post about this to the side.

Hi. I'm in a similar position to you. I had my aortic valve replacement 2 years ago. Also had mitral valve repair at the same time. I'm also a 2 time cancer survivor. I didn't get a letter as I'm not extremely vulnerable as some who received the letter are. Be careful if you need to go out shopping and try to do it only if you have to.

Hello mewg. Not everyone is getting letters for some unknown reason. I have 3 ailments. And have isolated of my own accord. For 4 weeks now but never had a letter. Take Care Brian

Just wondering why everyone seems to be obsessed with a letter. If you have any doubt self isolate then problems solved

I have heart failure, LVD all caused by stress & anxiety...

I used common sense and locked myself down on 14th March as I know that although I am healthy now the stress of my worrying could be a problem.

Decision to go out & worry I'm ill for 2 weeks once home or just stay home didn't seem difficult.

I have had no letters, no contact from anyone, and definitely no help from friends or family as apparently I'm just neurotic! No I am just sensible, not adding me with unnecessary chest pains to the NHS burden! If in doubt stay home...

Sorry but are we talking about the same letter ? I am referring to letter sent by NHS. This letter is advisory that if you are in the high risk category. It is explained that your health will severely impacted should you CATCH this virus. Not you are going to catch it big difference. And the advice given is not compulsory

Each individual will reach different. Me I am in the camp close the stable door before it happens.

I have not received a letter but trying to keep safe
