Diagnosed with myocarditis in January. Took colchicine for three months. Diagnosed with arterial fibrillation last month so now take blood thinners. Was feeling fine. Did a little gardening Saturday and now have chest discomfort. I don't know if it's arterial fibrillation, repeat of myocarditis or muscle strain and hesitant to call gp. All symptoms are so similar!

Stop hesitating and telephone the GP now - the duty GP will be able to work out from talking to you what is going on so telephone now, give her/him the opportunity to work out what's going on, and then update us on what happens.
I did as you asked Sunnie2day. Had a long chat with my lovely GP. She thought as I did I had strained my chest doing gardening and bent over for hours sewing! Also said it will take months to fully recover from the Myocarditis which I had prior to being diagnosed with AF. Happily this morning my chest feels so much better. But thank you for making me call instead of worrying myself stupid!
