I've had 3 stents fitted for a heart attack 7 days ago. I'm male, 57 years old and I've been taking aspirin, Ticagrelor, Atorvastatin, Ramipril and allopurinol for the last 7 days.
In the shower today, I noticed a red rash all over my torso and arms. It doesn't itch.
Has anyone seen this before?
Thanks

This is only a suggestion not a diagnosis. Ticagrelor and aspirin are both blood thinners which commonly cause bruising. Petechiae is fine spotty bruising under the skin. The rash is not a problem but I suggest you call your GP to let them know. Adjustments in medication are common in the first few weeks after HA as we all react differently.
I believe Allopurinol can cause a rash as can Ramipril. See: healthline.com/health/drug-.... But it could be any of the drugs you’re on having an unwanted reaction.
There are alternatives so best to see a doc. If you get a temperature do call 111.
Did wonder about posting that one. Some gruesome pictures there. And if you’ve had your shirt off in the sunshine statins can also cause a rash. Not much help really. Take it easy.
