Nice to hear someone looking forward to a holiday in this country. I know loads of people even family members who seem to think going on holiday has to involve jumping on a plane.

It's going to be a long time coming.

Me too!

I have so far grown tomatoes, squashes, pumpkins, courgettes and herbs from seed.

I am gutted that my favourite garden nursery is closed 😫

It's not sad. Amidst this terrible time, there are some good things happening. Families together as families, people out walking and on bikes they have obviously never been on before, maybe when all this is over some people may realize what a crazy life they have been living, we all need to slow down a bit and appreciate life more.

Looking forward to being able to go to the beach & hopefully not fall over & get wet! Catch a bus into town with my husband & eventually by myself, see family & friends

Looking forward to taking my wife to Greece when we can. Going to watch the football with my dad. Christmas on Exmoor with the family.

I think whenever this is over (or at least back to some sort of normal), the world will have changed significantly - hopefully for the better.

Looking forward to people not asking if they should be on a list. And getting on with our lives as normal as we can. Simple things like living and breathing

I am looking forward to going walking in Austria in a village called Neustift in the Stubai valley for a week. Lots of lifts, free buses in the valley, guided walks, etc. Will I get there? It's all on/off. It was booked before Xmas flying with Flybe. Gone bust -rejig it all.

Now booked to fly with Jet2 - who have just stopped all flights until June. We are flying in June.

If it goes ahead we will be flying down an incredibly picturesque valley into Innsbruck with a specially trained and qualified pilot. It is a very impressive experience, Snowy mountains on the left, Snowy mountains on the right and a little airport tucked into the middle of the valley..

Do I cancel and lose my deposit? Just had a letter from my Insurance Company. It says basically that if I fall down , break something, etc, that's ok. Any mention of COVID and you are on your own.

O.K. I will cancel. Contacted the Travel company (Inghams) who came back with a quick and interesting response. if I cancel now I will lose my deposit. However If I stay with the booking for another 6 weeks and then pay the balance due they will make a decision based on what is happening in Austria. June, July and August are the main summer walking months so I am quite sure the locals will break their necks to try and re-open everything, starting with their schools after Easter.

Jet2 have said they will restart their flights on the day I go on Holiday.

If the Foreign Office continues to say " no unnecessary travel " all bets are off and the

holiday company has said, in writing, that they will review the situation 14 days before departure on a go/no go basis. If it is a 'no go' I will get all my money back, including my deposit.

And I will probably enjoy walking along the seafront in Porthcawl with an ice cream in my hand.

Ooh Porthcawl.Beales for fish and chips then a couple of sherbets in the hi tide, bliss.
