Oooh, nice! I brought sweet corn wrapped for the barbie, should be ready to enjoy in about 45 minutes.
(Shuck then slather unsalted butter the ear, wrap tightly in tin foil - put on the far edges of the BBQ turning occasionally with BBQ tongs during the 30-60 minute roasting time, time depends on size of ear)
Oh here, I also brought my extra long BBQ turner and tongs.

Sadly my location precludes home-grown sweet corn. I tried the first year I was home from America - lesson taken to heart and now I buy from the supermarket (grown in Spain). sigh
I'll gift you some of my home grown sweet corn 🌽 when we harvest it if you'll gift me some thistly cider, I fell in love with the stuff when I was in Edinburgh last year. ☺

Tbh, I never use to like cheese. But, by the same token, I felt a cold emptiness in my life. Then I found halloumi, feta, Parmesan, ricotta, cheddar, Red Leicester, baby bells. I now consider them family.
Just to be clear though I’m not into those weird cheese’s that smell like feet 🦶

😂 I had no idea of its full name, though after I couple I probably didn't care and, even more likely, I probably couldn't say it! Definitely try it, it's really refreshing and delicious. It's Scotlands 'own' nectar of the gods.

I'd have come over, but the walk would have taken me past the 1 hour recommended exercise time and carrying a crate of ale would certainly have slowed me down. Maybe another time when motoring is allowed. 😀

Starting to drop in Canberra, with wind chill feels like 11-12c some days, others getting up to 19-20. Usually start to have zero mornings around Anzac Day. Really admire what you are doing to lift peoples spirits.

I did call the police about all the noise and smell though, but they said it was okay as they were all there too along with the chief constable, prime minister, his girlfriend, the health minister was there too, even the Queen popped in for a glass of water and a well done frankfurter. Well, at least you had a good time under the circumstances!
