I see posts from people still questioning how bad the impact of this virus is likely to be and how careful those of us with existing medical issues should be in protecting ourselves. I get that we look outside the window and everything seems normal. We're not Italy or Spain. The sun's out. Maybe have a barbecue. This is called not understanding what Exponential means. Probably one of the best explanations of exponential is the good old pyramid scheme, which as we know rapidly runs of people in the world who can be found to join up, and still people fall for it!

Could you just explain why having a barbie, obviously in the confines of your garden, is not understanding what exponential means?? We cannot all stay in our front rooms for ever or we will have mental health issues as well as wrecking the economy, which we will need to conquer this and future problems.
