Assume you are. Isolate. Take precautions. Most heart conditions are high risk if you become infected.

I don’t know if it’s of any help. btec, but the list of those who are considered “Extremely Vulnerable” does include hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Ring your GP for confirmation. Meanwhile, you would probably be wise to self-isolate.

I would consider yourself high risk. I haven't had my letter either and I had valve replacement surgery 5 weeks ago AND I have COPD. I rang my GP right at the start of this pandemic and he suggested I self isolate wherever possible . In three weeks I have been shopping twice for essentials and I have been for a blood test. Keep yourself safe.

why not assume you are high risk and self isolate. What harm can it do? I have had a triple bypass, a valve replacement, two lots of strokes, and endocarditis...and have had no letter. But I am self isolating anyway, why go out there and take any risks?
