Ive been taking 40mg of propanalol twice a day for anxiety but it made me feel worse. The doctor advised me to totally stop them, now I'm feeling awful. Tiredness, muddy head, rushing through my body. Feeling terrible, is this normal can someone please advise

Have you stopped them totally or on a reduced dose, in my view this is something that should be done gradually.
I took them years ago when my anxiety was high think propanol is the medical name for them are they beta blockers? If they are I was advised the same at the time when I actually think your meant to come off them gradually & I felt the same try not to worry which I know is hard when you have anxiety but maybe just get some advice from 111 online service if you feel like you need it or wait till Monday & call for tel advice from your doctors surgery
