Yes I remember seeing that at the time. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, has for years being allocating a lot of resources to the eradication of malaria and other infectious diseases.

Gates is not a rich philanthropist who funds this stuff, as well as funding he is very much hands on, does field trips to the countries affected and knows a lot about the issues. Really top man

He probably could make a good president, the problem with that is the Republican/Democrat stand off is increasingly making it hard to be a good president. I suspect Gates thinks he can do more good from his current position
