Hiya Cod61, welcome to the forum! We have a number of members here with BBB, hopefully by tomorrow morning at least a few of them will check in with you.

My heart conditions are different so about the only help I can offer is the waiting for results is the worst part (even if the news isn't as good as you'd like when you do get the results). You wait, you wait, you wait...and suddenly the wait is over.

Once you have the results you'll be started on the right treatment but until you have the results the waiting feels like an endless torture.

Again, welcome to the group!

Hi

I have left bundle branch block which was first diagnosed after my mitral valve surgery a couple of years ago. I take no medication for it and it doesn't appear to affect me at all. As I understand it, BBB reduces the efficiency of the heart to a degree which varies from person to person and can cause fatigue and light-headedness in some people but is a condition that most people simply live with.

Good luck with the tests.

Hi,

I was diagnosed with LBBB in 2007, I was just told by the cardiac nurse nothing to worry about, just mention it if I ever have an ecg as it can give a false reading. I have just lived my life as normal, i don’t suffer with fatigue or anything ... I have had a few ecg’s since, as a pre op etc and it has never been an issue with having the couple of operations I needed. I know we are all different but I hope that helps

Hi

I have had LBBB, diagnosed on April 2019.

It is an electrical problem in the heart, usually means both bottom chambers of the heart don’t beat in time, one beats later than the other so there is a problem pumping all the blood out of the heart. You get fatigue as blood doesn’t flow to all the right places completely. The drugs you want to be on is Sacubitrol Valsartan, This is the top drug. Have you been given an ejection fraction from a echo gram?

I had severe heart failure in April 19 and now after top meds and a CRTD pacemaker fitting in January this year I now have very mild if any impairement. So there is light at the end of the tunnel. If you want any more information / advice just get back to me.

Not what you're looking for?
