how long does it take before the unsteadiness and shakiness dies down, after having a small stroke? I seemed ok initially (stroke happened during triple bypass and valve replacement) but then developed problems with gaps around the new valve; had a repair done, was shaky before but nothing has changed after. I am 75, and fine while sitting down, but walking, and standing, I feel lightheaded and shaky. Even my voice feels shaky. I feel like I am 95, not 75!! Would like to hear from someone who felt like this but found it improved with time, it would give me hope.
