Hello to everyone in unsettled times

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to say it's great how you are all supporting each other while we try to get our heads around this situation we're in. Michael's virtual cafe sound like the in place to be!

Keep checking the BHF website and the pinned post on the right hand side of the landing page as these are being updated as often as needed.

There is lots of new and confusing terminology out there that has been causing more stress than ever, the differences between self isolating and social distancing being the culprits!

Please feel free to contact the cardiac nurses on the heart helpline. They are experienced nurses who offer guidance and reassurance, but can only advise on the updates the NHS and Public Health England publish. We can't give individualised information as you are all so different, it's over the phone and there are a lot of different conditions which vary from person to person!

The helpline number is 0300-330-3311 and there is someone to talk to Monday- Friday from 9-5.

Take care everyone ...

Philippa
