Hi I’m alex I’m taking this beta blocker for anxiety for a while now and recently had a bad cough and flu, but what bothers me is that my coughing is not going away, and I’m getting the feeling it’s because of the beta blocker, but I can’t stop it cause my heart races. But I want to get rid of this cough already, any advice out there?

If you have had flu recently and have a worsening cough call 111 and stay inside.Propanolol should ease palpitations not cause them but you need to consider the coronavirus as a cause.
What is the dose of the Beta Blocker ? You should consult your GP or whoever issued the prescription.
