Hi, I had a VT ablation on Friday (28th) and since then I’ve been getting blood clots in my nose? My nose keeps feeling blocked and when I blow it blood clots come out, I don’t have a nose bleed and it isn’t dripping out my nose,
Just wondering if this is anything to worry about?
Thanks

Agree with Stumpy 47 - GP as soon as possible and if I had clots I would ring 111 and ask them for advice this minute. Or you could ring the BHF nurses .....
I'm assuming you had an ablation because you have AF? I may be wrong, but it is my understanding that everyone who has A Fib is required to be on some type of blood thinning medication. A Fib won't kill you but it will make you very tired and your heart pumping ability is thrown way off.....that results in the possibility of blood pooling, then possibly clotting and leading to a stroke or worse. The ablation procedure attempts to get your sinus rhythm back in sync by catharizing the nodes to get your heart's electrical system back to normal firing.
