Chest pain
if you’re worried you should always contact your GP, 111 or 999..
Agree with Manhattan’s advice .....
Hello and welcome to the forum! Totally agree with the others - get it checked out. If it is heart related better to find out now and not in an emergency situation.
How is it now? Have you been checked out?
Hi,
I had a heart attack back in November. Had a double stent fitted and after for weeks had an ongoing dull ache. My GP is interested in cardiac medicine and changed some of my drugs, he put me on CHEMYDUR max dosage and increased others and since taking this for some six weeks the discomfort of the dull ache has now subsided.
Very rarely now I have to use the GTN spray when I have the odd spasm which just for that moment becomes a concern.
At the moment I am doing cardiac rehab and am not finding it of much use, I would rather be out walking my dogs or riding my bike...but to keep everyone happy I am going with the flow.
I have never been one to take drugs but now they seem to have my combination right and the fact that i had a heart attack it seems to be the right things to do.
I hope you resolve your dull ache soon...I am now after 3 and half months returning to work on 2nd March on a phased return.
