I have only just discovered a series of Podcasts that were recently commissioned by BHF and recorded by women. The Podcasts are from a series of personal perspectives and examine heart disease in women ranging from heart attack and the subsequent aftermath and include mental health, sexual issues and gender health gaps. One of the women involved in making and contributing to the Podcasts is Zena a member of healthunlocked.

I could quite easily have missed these podcasts so am not sure how widely they have been promoted but I really feel that many of you will find them both inspiring and informative (both men & women). Link attached bhf.org.uk/what-we-do/news-...

I have just listened to all 4 of the podcasts and found them so interesting, I feel they have helped me and my journey with Heart disease over the past 3 years, it’s been a long hard journey even though I didn’t have a heart attack but have had 5 Angiograms and 3 stents fitted and one restent. Thank you ladies it was a good afternoon and it helped me relax.
