24 Hour Blood Pressure Monitor

Has any one had one of these? and do you know if your readings get high in the afternoon/evening i'm on Metroprol 25 mg daily and also Perindopril 4mg daily, on this BPM i had normal readings throughout the morning than in the afternoon/evening having readings of 153/111, any advice would be appreciated

I have had two 24 hr BP monitors because I was having lightheadedness when standing because my blood pressure was low. Everyones blood pressure varies throughout the day. Rising when you are more active or under stress and lower when relaxed and sitting or lying down. Ideally your blood pressure should be controlled all day. It could be that your medication or dose needs to be changed for better control.

Yes and unless people experience it they don't get it. Last week the guy doing my angiogram said... Don't panic. Ha ha easier said than done. No sedation either. 😂

I found when I had those, I ended up waiting for the machine to kick in, got very tense and obviously my BP shot up every time. The machine made a tiny click as it started and that was enough to raise my BP.

Thank you Pablo317 handed in my monitor today so see what they say I hate blood pressure and trying to get the magic numbers 120/80
