Thank s to all of you who suggested that bisoprolol might be the reason my hubby felt spaced out and exhausted and felt his time was up. Tried and tried to get GP to change it, but our recently assigned hf nurse finally did it. Hubby is now on nebivolol.WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! At one point I even heard him whistling, which he used to do all the time. He's even driving again and it's all due to you good folks. We can't thank you enough! X

That is really good news. So good to hear. I love this forum!
Hi Patjo,
Can I ask what you mean by 'spaced out'? I am on 6.25mg of bisoprolol and I feel off balance and woozy all the time. I'm getting really down about it stalling my recovery.
Glad to hear the change in meds has worked for your hubby
Great news. I had the same problem with my GP; extremely reluctant to change anything. Well done for persisting.
Excellent result. So many people do not question their meds or their doctors. Truth is doctors are so used to dishing out these meds (that they do not have personal experience of) that they tend to dismiss patient concerns. Hooray for the nurse.
