Losarten 50

[Guineapigs]

Hi, I have been on 50mg losartan for about 6 weeks and my leg muscles are getting very weak and painful.

has anyone else had this or is it just a coincidence,

Hi sue, I have been on losartan (varying doses from 50mg to 75mg to 100mg) for over a year , I switched from ramipril as it made me cough persistently, and I can’t say I have noticed any of the symptoms you mention, but perhaps that’s just because the medication suits me, and it may not suit you...many of us here react very differently to the same medications, I would be inclined to contact your doctor and have a chat with them about it, they may want to try you on an alternative
