I had a HT unexpectedly in June last year and had two stents fitted as an emergency! My recovery has been good.
I'm on the following med: 20mg Rosuvastatin, 30mg Lansoprazole, 500 mg of Metformin twice a day, 5mg Oxybutynin twice a day, 75mg of Aspirin, 90 mg Ticagrelor twice a day, 10mg Ramipril, 1.25mg of Bisoprolol, 50mg Eplerenone.
I am wondering if not sleeping well and very itchy eyes could be a side effect from any of the meds. I've recently had my eyes tested both at optician and my diabetic eye check my actual eyes and sight are fine. My type 2 diabetes is well controlled.
Any advice would be appreciated!!
Thank you

Pleased to hear you have made a good recovery. Any comments on here will be anecdotal and in your shoes I would discuss with your pharmacist in the first instance.
Heart issues are stressful and sleep variability may be related to that. Relaxation exercises, retiring at a regular time each night may help. Lots of relaxation, mindfulness meditations on YouTube.
It could be partly the shock of what's happened and partly medication. I had problems with bisopralol giving me hallucinations at night- spent the next 12 months sleeping with the light on!!!!!!. Have a word with you GP or the BHF nurses. Some tablets must be taken at a certain time of day but it may be possible to change the time of others. It's very difficult to work out whether it's a specific one but if you only change one thing at a time, should be easier. Don't change timings on your own though.
