2nd stenting

Hello I have just had 3 stents fitted on the 20th of Dec i had 2 fitted 7 years ago i felt fine the first time after a few days but this time i feel drained of energy its only been 9 days but i expected to fell a lot better although i did get a bad cold at xmas i wonder if thats got a lot to do with it it seems to be on my chest so i dont know if its the stents or my cold i am felling dreadfull just hope i feel better after another week

Hi Paul. It’s highly likely that this is a combination of your cold, the stenting procedure and any new/increased meds that you’re on. As you’ll know it’s really very early days at the moment. If you get the chance to do cardio rehab I’d definitely give that a go as it helps physically and also it helps to stay in touch with the cardio nurses.

Sorry to hear that you feel so rough. Maybe call the BHF nurses if you’re not sure if it’s your heart or your chest cold that’s causing you distress?
