I just about remembered to call Staysure to double check they have accurate info about me.
This time I had to answer questions about a cyst in my breast- I forgot I’d been sent for an appt at the breast clinic-all was good.
They also asked if I had any medication dose changes in the last 6 months - oops that was a yes doubling of valsartan.
Interesting one, this do I take anything for high cholesterol- yes/no. There was no definition of high at all - mine at worst was 5.5
And the last one how many drugs do I take for high BP. Nearly said just 1 and then I checked and actually it’s 2.
All the usual other questions as well. I am getting used to this chat each time I go away or book a holiday. I would hate to be away anywhere and find I wasn’t insured because I hadn’t told them some small detail...

That's a very good point especially as you don't have to inform Staysure if hols dates if you have an annual policy. We had to cancek Italy hol in June as OH re referred to cardio. and no firm diagnosis for this blip. Appt is next week!!
I think its worthwhile getting a full Medical History Printout from your G.P, I was told i had a stiff hip by a phsio. So would not mention this to insurers. But on my medical history it was down as Osteoarthritis. From just an examination. Insurers are good at finding a reason to not payout. Brian
