Prescribed medicine and side effects.

Has anyone been on metoclopramide for indigestion? I was on it for some time and its effect was fine for digestion. But no GP alerted me to the side effect of depression which is listed on the leaflet as top of the list of common side effects. I suffered hell for some months.
