Hi. I'm struggling with dizzyness which apparently due to too many eptopic beats. I'm still only on 1.25mgs bisoprolol as my heart rate is sometimes too low, so as yet they have been able to increase my dose. If they can't increase the dose they will keep happening, will I have to have a pacemaker or some other device
Eptopic beats: Hi. I'm struggling with... - British Heart Fou...
Eptopic beats
I have eptopic beats all the flipping time. I have a pacemaker and on Bisoprolol. They definitely make a difference. I am on 10 mg bisoprolol the top dose. I have a lot of other things going on. I get the extra heart bearts also and atrial fibrilation. Hopefully they can find the best treatment for you. It may take a bit of tweaking we all respond differently to the same thing. Hugs sara
Hi I have a icd / pm fitted and am on bisoprolol 2.5 , I have eptopic beats quite often was thinking it might be my body getting use to new device but unsure. Is There anything that helps u with them ? ❤️
I have just learnt that where possible have a sit down if out and let them pass. Or if at home have a sleep. I find. That works best for me and also breathing exercises to stop the initinal panick. Also could try a higher dose of bisoprolol, hugs sara
Same as you when I can but it's difficult as I have a severely disabled son and have to do everything for him when his careers aren't here. I'm seeing the heart failure nurse on Thursday. I also have heart failure and dilated myopathy xxx
Absolutely nothing wrong with a pacemaker if it is recommended. I am well into my second year, and for me it has been a great success.
Hi Casey angel did your consultant mention ablation he did to me said would give bisoporol 3 months first apparently ablation gets rid of ectopic I don’t fancy being long term on bisoprol. Take carexxx
I was on Sotalol for AF and had an ablation, apparently the AF is gone but I'm now averaging 3000-4000 Ectopic heartbeats a day now, compared to before my ablation!
Doctor says it's ok but won't speculate on why I have now got the extra heartbeats or why my shortness of breath is as bad as ever!
Oh my that sounds a lot, you poor thing. The dizziness and nausea is awful isn't it?
Absolutely
