Just seen this article. Indicates that exercising vigorously twice a week gives best outcomes in those that have stable heart disease. I’m rather glad it’s only twice.

The is a million different ways to train and exercise, mine begins with a 2km brisk walk, sometimes repeated in the evening. Then a 10 minute standard BHF exercise routine.

My motivation is that, at 67 I want another 20 years of reasonable health and the previous 15 years got me into this mess in the first place.

After a vegan breakfast I am off this morning and back for a green tea.

I convince myself that if I slip back I will have another HA in 2 years, or die.

Interesting reading. Thanks for the post -another brick in the wall.

I go to cardio rehab classes run by physiotherapists on behalf of my local heart support group. Clare

I’d love it if I could get the supervised exercise programme that NICE guidelines suggest. But no!
