Chest pain

Hi everyone, I’m just asking for advice. I have had a fast heart beat for sometime now and have had quite a few ECG’s but nothing irregular shows up on results.

I have COPD but my spo levels are 96 while my pulse is alway fast but regular. Last night I had a severe pain under my left arm and under my breast. I’m not sure if it was chest related or heart. It came on suddenly and I took paracetamol and codine and was able to settle and sleep. Do you think I should seek advice from GP’s. I’m often going to see them and at times I’m made to feel like I’m complaining about nothing despite my mum dying at 65 following major heart surgery.

I hope you guys can give me your opinions and advice.

Thanks

Polly

People with lung disease tend to run a little higher on the heart rate.

My advice, always report a new symptom.

Don't let the medical world make you feel uncomfortable. Nothing should be ignored when it's new and they haven't pinpointed something.

If you don't have it checked anxiety mode kicks in making things worse.

They are getting paid to do a job. Let them do it:)

👍

Yup see what the others say. But I say just do it. The fact that it went away is good. But what caused it is the question.

Let me know what happens. Could be a fluke. But why not get it checked. Don't be intimidated, we only get one body.
