Forgotten pill

I take Apixaban 5mg twice a day. Last night I forgot to take my evening pill, found it this morning in my blister pack. I didn’t like to take it this morning with my morning pills so just left it. What would other people have done.

If you completely forget a pill just carry on as normal with your next pill. Don't take a double dose. Instructions are included in the leaflet.

Agree, that;s what we were told at rehab by the cardiac nurses. Do NOT double dose.

This is so common - just about everyone on here will have been here at least once. The general advice is not to worry and just take it the next time you are due to take it.
