Evening all, can anybody recommend a good website for the MD with more info than just a short list of foods to eat and not to eat that are listed in the small booklets the hospitals give out please. I am cutting down on fats and using the traffic light system but want to understand more about sugars and salt. Thank you

Thank you Michael
Hi Smidget, if you want to use a mediterranean diet then I would recommend mediterraneanliving.com
Mediterranean Living is a community for the Mediterranean Diet and lifestyle with Mediterranean diet recipes, cookbook, free e-book and an online challenge.
However, if you really want to improve your lifestyle and health in general then I heartily (pun intended!) recommend The China Study Cookbook. Search on Google (other search engines are available!) This is for really healthy living and is based on decades of comprehensive research on a healthy diet and follows up on the Book, The China Study which I also wholeheartedly (doing it again!) recommend.
Best wishes for an extraordinarily long and healthy life.
Just be careful with WPF diets as they can be high in potassium.
You can also become deficient in calcium, Vitamin D, Vitamin B12 and others on the WPF diet so great care is needed.
BHF has some great recipes
Try the GI diet "glycemic index" it's uses traffic lights system like the diabetic books. I lost two stone, try to borrow from the library before you buy one.
