1 week after Stent

Hi All,

I am now one week on from my first stent. I can honestly say it was not the traumatic experience I was bracing myslef for. I'm on a number of pills but that is no issue as I don't seem to be experiencing any massive side effects (fingers crossed!). There are some occasional twinges in my chest and arm but nothing dramatic. Hoping this is just the stent 'settling' itself in?

It has been a massive help to see other stories and experiences being posted. There are a lot of brave people who are rising to the challenge of heart disease and beating it!

Good luck, it's a long road but we are getting there, use this site it's been a great help to me, if put plenty of info requests on and advise for others and there is always someone who has some helpful input. Cheers!!
