Alcohol with ivabradine and Bisoprolol 🍸

Hiya! So my best friend is travelling down to see me next weekend and we are planning to go for some cocktails.... my question is, is it okay to drink whilst being on Ivabradine and bisoprolol? I’ve heard mixed things I’m sure it’s okay but not 100% ... i don’t think it said on the leaflet not to drink so I assume it’s okay 🤷‍♀️

Does anyone else drink whilst on these meds? Thanks a lot!!

You should be OK within the guidelines - no more than 2 - 3 units per day with two dry days per week. You have a week so drop your doctor's surgery a call to double check. Overdoing it could kick in arrhythmia!

Should have added only your GP/cardiologist can be more exact as both medications are used for multiple heart conditions including angina/heart failure/arrhythmia and these may have to be taken into consideration.
