Currently still awaiting an appointment date for surgery. Being self employed and my partner is too can anyone else that is in our position she’s any advice with money matters. I’m worried as I will be off work for longer and my partners wages aren’t guaranteed ?

I'm not an expert but could you apply for ESA, PIP? Citizens advice should be able to help you fill in forms etc

Thank you yes I think that’s what I will have to do was just wondering if anyone had been in this position. Will make an appointment to seek advice

morning pam. i’m in the same boat but a bit further down the line. i applied for esa but was turned down as i was paying wrong stamp. iv recently had to stop working again and this time i claimed universal credit. let me tell you you’ll have to jump through hoops to get it. i receive £159 a month as i have £123 from late husbands pension. i don’t know how your supposed to live on that. but that’s the situation in uk at the moment. you also don’t get help with mortgage but you can apply for a loan to pay it. you couldn’t write it. good luck in your quest❤️shiona

Contact the cariology dept. and tell them that you are willing to take a cancellation. That might get you in quicker.
