Today marks two years since Grenfell and the angiogram that identified I had four coronary arteries between 70% and 85% blocked. The worse being my LAD. I was not really aware of the news as I had had to be at the hospital early for some last minute checks prior to the angiogram where I was first on the list. Recovering afterwards I had a television in the room and turned it on the see the full horror of the events unfolding! There are no adequate words to describe the horror of that fire.
Two years on I have had a quadruple bypass after near a year's delay. The Grenfell enquiry is still ongoing but what I find appalling is that the safety upgrades for many blocks have not yet been completed!
