This is silly I know but I’ve just got my appointment for a stress echocardiogram, it was expected I had diagnosis of CHD and a stent fitted October 2018 and generally have been OK but had some pain back in March (nothing since). At that time I had treadmill test and all showed OK, I was able to reach my maximum HR with no problems but cardiologist suggested for reassurance they would do stress echocardiogram too.
That time has come and now I feel worried, so a few calming words would be welcome, it’s not scheduled as diagnostic but hopefully reassurance but I’m a bit panicked about it now.

I had one of these a few months ago, I wouldn’t say I enjoyed the procedure, neither would I say I really disliked it, the most stressful time of the whole experience was parking the car, the technician and the nurse were complete professionals, continually asking if I was ok, felt any pain (angina) or wanted to stop, it was a lot quicker than I expected, I felt no side affects off the medication and was allowed to leave almost straight away, nothing good comes from over thinking it, just put the thoughts out of your head and get on with your day🙂
