Respected colleagues,

With DCM for a year. On beta blockers, diuretics, anticoagulant, statin.

Before two months had an increase in potassium and creatinine levels.

Consequently advised to increase the fluid intake from 1 litre to 1.5 litres and reduce the diuertic from 10mg daily to 5 mg 3 days & 10 mg for four days. Losartan with potassium was also stopped. Creatinine & potassium levels have come down to normal range.

Recently for a week had feeling of suffocation while going to bed. Gradually this is increasing and last night I had episodes of PND making me raise my pillow levels. No other symptoms such as fatigue, weight gain or shortness of breadth while walking / exercising.

Is this due to fluid build up or there may be any other reason?

What to do further. Please help me.
