It has now been decided I'm to have an angiogram this morning . Hoping they see/ find what's causing the the angina pain after my double bypass

Well you are in the right place and have not just been dismissed without proper investigation. If you are up for it why not ask if you can see what they are doing. I have found in the past the medical staff have only been too happy to explain things as they go along especially when it has come to narrowings or blockages.
