Still experiencing grumbling aches after heart attack

Just about 4 weeks ago I had a heart attack then an angiogram followed immediately by angioplasty. No stent but tubes cleared. I am still suffering from and ache in my left arm and across my back and in between my shoulder blades is this likely to be my heart settling down after the treatment. Hospital discharged me after 1 day following the angiogram with don't exercise and make sure you take the tablets. Any advice would be much appreciated

I had heart attack and angioplasty 2 weeks ok and so far luckily no adverse feeling. I did read somewhere that you can get post angioplasty discomfort for several weeks so not unheard of.

Hopefully you'll get started on cardio rehab shortly and they will help reassure you.

Your heart has undergone a physical trauma and it takes time to recover and your body to get used to the meds. All perfectly ‘normal’. Take it easy ask your gp for reference to cardio rehab and if concerned the BHF nurses on the phone are terrific. Take it easy.
