7 months into my cardiac journey and daily morning dose of blood pressure meds, clopidogrel Apixaban, lanzaprozol and atorvastatin (40ng) and for the last couple of weeks I have been waking in the early hours with what I can only describe as internal shakiness and then sweating. It passes quickly but just feels like my system is overproducing something.... I am also hypothyroid but quite stable with that. I have an appointment at GP next week so not trying to self diagnose but any thoughts welcome - just helps to be concise and informed and I have read that statins can cause blood sugar rise and wondered if others had experienced?
Thanks

Thanks It almost feels like my levels crash and then hormones surge to compensate, it’s very odd. I admire your commitment and determination Jimmy but was a battle to reduce statin to 40 cardiologist also wanted to add in ezetimibe - I’ve decided against this my cholesterol is down to 3.5
Are you taking the statin in the morning or evening? Also the Lansoprazole should be taken 30/60 minutes before food in the morning.
